JUDGING PROCESS
Be a Preliminary Judge and be part of a unique process for the International Wildlife Film Festival!
Preliminary Judges are volunteers from Western Montana with a background in media, science, or humanities or people from the film community who come together for a two day panel and view each entry in full. Each panel consists of individuals who work together to make decisions on films' honorable mentions, make recommendations for public screening, and on which films proceed to the next level of Final Judging.
Preliminary Judging is our largest volunteer opportunity of the year and is an exciting time to view films from all over the world. There are over a dozen two day panels that volunteers serve on. Judges are fed lunch donated from Missoula's generous local restaurants and thanked with IWFF tickets, discounts on merchandise and tickets to the Sneek Peak Party in March.
Contact Us>> if you want to sign up to be a Preliminary Judge on a two day panel in February & March, 2009. We'll send you a Sign Up Sheet this winter!
