MONTANA CINE INTERNATIONAL ENTRY CATEGORIES AND FEES>>

Entry Rules:

• Entries can have any release date, copyright date or air date.
  
  
• Entries must be received by June 30, 2008 to avoid a 20% late fee. Late deadline is July 15, 2008. Complete entries must include the Entry Form, a copy of the film in one of our accepted formats, and full payment.
  
  
• Films may be entered in multiple categories, but each must have its own entry form, entry fee, and tape. Films in each category are judged within that category and may be judged against other entries in that category to determine Best of Category.
  
  
• Non-English language productions must be accompanied by an English sound track or subtitles. No scripts.
  
  
• Submit one of the following viewing format combinations per entry:
  o NTSC Beta, BetaSP, or DIGI Beta
  o One (1) NTSC DVD and one (1) MiniDV or DV-Cam tape
  o Two (2) DVDs
  
  (ONLY if it is an extreme hardship to enter those formats, you may subit two (2) VHS tapes. Similarly, we will accept PAL if hardship to submit NTSC.)
  
  
• For public screenings during the festival, NTSC BetaSP or DIGI Beta tapes in a 4:3 aspect ratio will be requested.
  
  
• Each film entered must be accompanied by a complete and legible entry form along with the full entry fee(s) by the deadline or entry may be disqualified. This includes the section regarding Permission Statements.
  
  
• Please preview your entries before shipping. Programs with time code or other defects will be disqualified.
  
  
• Please include publicity stills, and/or media kits if available, with your entry in print quality resolution & format (for example, a 300dpi TIF or EPS). Slides & photos also accepted.
  
  
• Entry fees should be paid by check, in U.S. dollars, drawn on a U.S. bank or by VISA or Mastercard. For credit card charges, you must add a $1 service charge.
  (We do not accept AMEX or international money orders.)
  
  
• Contact us for our account number if you would prefer to do an electronic wire transfer (please add US $20 to cover bank fees).
  
  
• Please thoroughly review the Entry Qualifications, Categories, and Entry Form.
